How To Start A Blog In 2019

This is going to be a guild on what you need to start a blog in 2019. This blog will have affiliate links which means I get a small reward when you use my link to buy the products at no extra cost.
It's never too late to start a blog. There are some things you should know.
PS, I added the wrong year by accident in the graphic, please excuse this.

First Get Yourself A Niche

First, get yourself a niche you wanna blog about. I suggest you blog about what your passionate about because if you blog about something just because it's popular or because it will make you money, your readers will see it and be put off. Don't blog about cooking if that is not something you wanna keep writing about.

Get Yourself A  Website Builder

Find a site you want to use to build your website. I used to build my website.
You can also use.
If there are any other builders you can use, you can tell me in the comments!

Get Yourself A Custom Domain

You will need a custom domain for your site. If you use the domain your site builder gives you, it looks like this 'www.joe'' I  watch this YouTuber who gives people advice to become a Freelance writer and she mentions how subdomains do not look professional. Having a custom domain will make it easier for people to find you. It will be easier to find your site if your URL is www.joe', net, org, etc. If you need a custom domain, use these sites. Having your own domain makes it easier for promoting as well.
  • Freenom, they have cheap and free domains. Although it's not recommended, gotta do what you gotta do when you're broke. At least until you can save up enough money for hosting and a better domain. If people understand what it's like to be poor they would understand why you have to go with free options.
  • Bluehost, if you register for hosting, Bluehost gives you a free domain, their plan is like 3 bucks a month. If you use someone's link, you get it for like 2 bucks a month.
  • Godaddy
  • Wordpress Hosting
  • Name Boy
  • Namecheap
Get Yourself Some Spellcheck

You will need spell check your articles for grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. I suggest Grammarly for this. I did a review of their software so check that out if you'd like. I will have a Grammarly review up soon.

Get Yourself Some Graphics
You're going to need some graphics for your blog. I suggest Pixabay as they are copyright free and you will have no worries. If you want to spice up your graphics, you can use Canva. I use Canva and it has everything that I need.  You can use Picmonkey for editing.

You will need social media for promotion. I recommend Twitter since Facebook limits post reach.

Jobs For Adults With Autism

Just got fired from your 12, 20th etc job? Or are you just out of your luck and can't find any jobs that fit your needs. I will be explaining some jobs I feel are right for adults with autism that you can probably do remotely. This is my opinion but everyone is different and will have different skills. I did research for this blog post. I always to research before covering certain topics.

Sometimes 'real world' jobs are not for us. They are built the around neurotypical force. Remember that NTs don't have the issues that we have. We are sometimes forced to accommodate the Nts and that is not right. This article talks about the jobs that I feel is right for us. It will probably be won't be a walk in the park to get. It's better than being fired from several jobs due to your differences.
Freelance Work
I am actually trying to land some freelance work myself. I feel freelance work is great for some of us because you can do it your way and the clients will come if …

How Autism Greatly Limits My Ability To Work A Job

I am trying to apply for SSI, got denied twice because they claim 'my conditions are not bad enough to keep me from working.' I got a call from the layers I am going through and I have to go to court. That probably will get denied too. It's harder now for people to get SSI because of people who leech off of benefits that they don't need. It's harder for us since we are not physically disabled. I thought I explain how my ability to perform a job is greatly limited to the point where getting a job will be basically impossible.

You are aware the gov shut down for 34 days last month and there were articles about food stamps and WIC being affected. I shared it on a page and this asshole told me to 'get off my ass and get a job.' I call these people assholes because getting a job is not that simple, one cannot walk into Target and come out with a job. You have to send in applications and it's you vs hundreds, thousands of people wanting the same job. Another t…

My Struggles With Finding A Job

I am currently unemployed due to my autism. I have trouble finding a job that fits my needs and has the settings that I require. I will perform better if the job has no sensory triggers. If the jobs have these sensory triggers, it will be hard to perform a job at 100%. I will be showcasing how it will be hard for me to find and keep a job due to my autism. In fact, many of us struggle to find and hold down a job. Around 80% of adults with autism are unemployed. Why is this? There are several reasons as to why most of us struggle with getting or keeping jobs.
Reason Why Finding/Holding A Job Will Be Hard
No Jobs With The Settings I Need To Function, I need a job that doesn't have a lot of people, no noise, where I can work at my own pace, with direct clear instructions, low stress, low anxiety, no lifting due to my shoulder injury and arthritis flare-ups. The list can go on. I can't function without these settings. Retail jobs such as fast-food and stores get busy at specific tim…
